Our story

From a small rented house to a thriving 17-acre campus serving hundreds of students from across the world.

1991

International Christian Kindergarten (ICK) established — a respected Montessori early-childhood program in Nairobi.

2004

School of the Nations founded by ICK parents seeking continued education for their children. A small class began in a rented house.

2007

Relocated to the current 17-acre campus in Kitisuru with fewer than 30 students, operating from a converted farmhouse.

2008

The 17-acre property was purchased, though a legal challenge immediately followed when the seller attempted to void the sale.

2015

The High Court ruled in the school's favour on May 19th. The school also celebrated its 10-year anniversary.

2017

The first IGCSE class graduated with stellar academic performance — seven students who set the standard for those that followed.

Today

An expanding campus serving a diverse international community from Kindergarten through A-Level.
